Becky's Sweet Creations DT Challenge Tri Fold Card

Well here is my card for this weeks challenge! I hope you all enjoy it as I am in LOVE with it. Seems I will be making at least 35 more of them for a birthday party I am doing next October. Gotta love the momma's that a prepaired when they want hand made decor.... I used an assortment of paper and I actually used a cricut cart which may be a first for my blog. The cartridge is Carousel and it is a lite cart. I only paid $10 dollars and it has already paid for itself. As you can tell the theme of the up and coming party is carnival. This is going to be my biggest job ever and I am SOOO EXCITED!!!!
Til next week (or time) Crafty Love,

My Craft Room

This part of the wall is to the left of the main work area, the boxes on the right come off so that you can access things closer to hand!  Thank you Baby...
This is my $3 paper cart, I call it this becaue I paid $3 for it and hubby converted it for me, yay again!

The corner of the main work area!

My cube shelves, full of embelly's Love It, also cricut station (are we in kindergarten?)
Right in front of the main woek are, love me some pegboard!

This is Laura's work station, you see she crafts standing up...No way I could do that.  I wanted to make sure she had a nice place to create, and of course there are her stickles!

This is just a little spare space that needed a shelf, so here comes hubby to the rescue.

Last but not least, my main work area, all the storage to the left was custome made by hubby also!
LOVE my littl slice of craft heaven!

Hope you enjoy...

Tammy

Becky's Sweet Creations DT Challenge- FLIP/SWING Card

Well this is another first for me!  Thank you Becky for challenges that work my creativity... :)  I am actually kinda proud of this one, love the way it turned out.  Was a bit of a challenge at first but I think I will be making more of these.  Now to the leaf!!!  I once had some leaf stamps but swore I would never use them because at the time I did not use stamps (you should see the collection I have now) those stamps live at Laura's Crafts and More, don't think they have been used yet!  Hope you enjoy my little card, Happy Crafty Love.....

FUN! FUN! Weekend!!!!

Well I had just a FABULOUS weekend full of crafting and friendship.  Had my two crafty friends (well the two besties) in the same room (Mine giggle, giggle) at the same time.  Thank you ladies for making the weekend the best.  I made several projects only one that I can show today but thought I should share a little something with you all after such a wonderful weekend.  This card is made with regular cardstock, a small piece of SU DSP, a Tim Holtz stamp, and embossing powder.  Oh yeah and a little Tim Holtz film strip ribbon.
What I thought was really cool was how both ladies showed me a technique that was actually the same only using different products.  These two are very talented and I feel very blessed to have them as friends, now they have a new friend too!  Each other....
I also can not thank my Hubby David enough for all he did to make this weekend awesome.  He did a lot to get things ready and he is a pretty good little host.  And to end the weekend with a bang a birthday party for a dear family friends little boy who is a true miracle and blessing in our lives.
HAPPY CRAFTING ALL, have a great day!

Where have I been........ And a HUGE thank you......

Well I was gone all weekend to Stephenville, TX.  Got to see my Hannah and do the college thing!  GREAT fun.  I got home very late Sunday and think I am still in recovery, LOL.  Back in the craft room tomorrow (I have been saying that for days) for sure.  Three projects and a card swap due by the end of the weekend, this should be fun and to think I tried to make plans for Saturday.  Gotta slow down on the plans, again LOL.  Thank you for your patience and understanding as I go wild with the activities that do not relate to crafts.  Now for the HUGE thank you.....

My husband and son gave me a very nice surprise this evening, when I got home Daniel (my son) came out of the Man Cave (computer room) with a black box containing a netbook.  I have wanted one of these forever for my craft room.  Now I can organize and keep up with my obligations as well as watch YouTube videos and store all the craft ideas I have been printing out (and killing trees).  So excited, I Skyped for the first time with a very good friend for almost 2 hours.  Learning and having a great time, it has already paid for itself (I think).  Now off to find a purse that it fits in because I intend to take it with me EVERYWHERE I go,  LOL, I sure am laughing a lot tonight.  Happy Crafting dear friends and I REALLY hope to have some new pictures for you all over the weekend.

Becky's Sweet Creations DT Project

This is my project for this weeks DT challenge.  We were allowed to make pretty much anything we wanted, it needed to be something we had made before or something we wanted to try.  I have always wanted to make one of these, but..... I don't have the right sex child so when my niece called and ask me to make this I jumped right on.  Thank you for taking a look and Keep on craftin!

Birthday Party Invitation

This is an invitation that I made for a very dear friend for her sons birthday party in October.  I guess you can figure out that the theme is Pirates!  This little boy is very special to all of us, it took his parents 10 years to get pregnant and they came close to losing him.  Love this little man and his momma dearly~  Happy Crafting, more too come soon!

Good Morning All!

Let's see I thought I would have a picture to post by today of something creative, well what I did not think of was the fact that everything I worked on this weekend is either a design team project or I need to wait a little while before posting.  :(  I guess I better get back to the craft room and get busy!  I only made one large item and 40 cards so far this weekend.  Marathon!!!!!!!  Happy Crafting all! :)

Thursday, September 22, 2011

Well since I have been thinking about Daddy so much, this is a card that I made for his birthday a couple years agao.  So new to the card making at that time.  Its simple and kinda plain but you would of thought it was made of gold when I gave it to him.  My mother was crafty and he appreciated the home made stuff.  Thank you Momma for passing the craft passion on to me.  Miss you both and love you.  This weekend some new and exciting stuff!  :)

DT Project-Tea Light

This is my first project for Becky's Sweet Creations DT.  I would have never thought of making a paper craft with a tea light, well maybe I would have some day LOL!  I really enjoyed this challenge, and keep thinking of other projects to do with these cute little lights.  I made this little black widow with foil, pipe cleaners, paper, googly eyes (:)) and a little glue.  The vellum is actually two pieces on each side, there is a solid base piece and a cut from vellum of the web.  I am very happy with how this turned out.  I hope everyone enjoys this project as much as I enjoyed making it.

Today is not a picture of something I made but one of part of who helped make me!  This is my Daddy (along with Daniel and I), we lost him in March and I miss him very much.  Thought about him a lot today,  not sure why but I did (more than usual).  He molded me into a hard worker who goes after what she wants.  Miss you DaddyO!  (He would say miss you DaughterO) Love you too.......

Koodos time!!! (Is that how you spell it?)

I want to take a moment to thank a very special person in my life for the support I am given in my craft adventure.  My husband David started this adventure and continues to support me every step of the way.  He also takes all my photos for me, and for that I am thankful, very thankful.  He does damn good work too!  Love you baby!  Here he is with our son Daniel, and yes that is SNOW in Texas.  Rare footage, rare footage.   And now to Dan, he actually came up with the name of my blog (well I added one word) he is always playing on our last name so I am not surprised he came up with this.  Love his creativity!  Love you guys bunches......Always!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Card of the Day

This is a little card I made yesterday I thought I would share.  I used peach parfait from SU for the base and a piece from Hippie Chic (DCWV) for the top.  The sentiment is from The Stamps of Life minis4circles in peach parfait SU ink.  This beautiful little flower is from Recollection.
